Our mission is to create a vibrant community, driven by passion for dance, that nurtures the development of well-rounded artists. We believe that individuals of all ages and abilities can thrive and find a sense of belonging in our programs.
Starting at age 3, we offer sessions of weekly, after-school classes in ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, hip hop, & creative movement.
For adult dancers, we offer morning and evening drop-in classes that don’t require a week to week commitment. Classes are offered in ballet, modern, contemporary, and fusions like Afro-modern and modern jazz blues.

Malashock Dance’s Community Programs bridge the gap between our San Diego community and dance to cultivate creativity, enhance critical thinking, and foster a deeper understanding of the art of dance and its lifelong benefits.
Our arts integration programs are designed to seamlessly combine the Dance Performing Arts Standards with Core Curriculum standards using movement as a tool to explore and enhance the understanding of classroom concepts. In addition, we offer dance specific programming that brings professional dance performance or training to students it wouldn’t normally have access.
