Q: Where are you located?

A: 2650 Truxtun Road, San Diego, CA 92106 – Studios: Suite 200 & 204, Office: Suite 104.
We are in the Dorthea Laub Dance Place building inside Liberty Station. The building is adjacent to the Lot on the corner of Truxtun Rd and Dewey Rd.

Q: Where can I park?

A: There is a parking lot located across Dewey Rd. There is also street parking in front of the building on Dewey Rd.

Q: What if I can’t come every week?

A: Our adult classes run on a drop-in basis. Drop-in whenever it works for your schedule.

Our youth classes are built to progress through the session. You can drop in for the first part of the session, but once classes start working on their showcase pieces we close drop ins. We ask for you to commit to the rest of the session at that point.

Q: Can you refund my tuition?

A: Tuition is nonrefundable. We will gladly transfer your registration to another class or date. In extenuating circumstances, we may apply a credit to your account for a future session.

Q: What if I’m not sure which class to start my child in?

A: Please call 619-260-1622 x 1 or email [email protected] for a personalized recommendation. In general, we need to see your child dance before we can give a solid placement. We recommend trying the base level class as a placement class. We feel it is better for a dancer to be ahead of the class than to feel completely overwhelmed and discouraged on their first day.

Q: Do you have a Recital?

A: Yes, we have 2 showcases each year – one in December and one in June. These generally take place within a week of the end of school for the San Diego Unified School District.

Q: Are there extra fees for the recital?

A: Yes, Costumes and recital expenses are $150 per dancer per class.

Q: Do you offer scholarships/Financial aid?

A: Yes! Please fill out THIS form to be considered for fiancial aid.

Q: What do I do when I come in for class?

A: We’re so excited to have you join us! When you arrive at the building make your way to studio 200. Upstairs and all the way at the end of the building closest to Truxtun Road. There will be someone there to greet you and help you get checked in for class.
