Artists in Motion (Teaching Artists: John Malashock & Molly Puryear)
La Jolla Country Day School

High School students attending La Jolla Country Day School have the opportunity to work with a resident Malashock Dance teaching artist during their dance class offered on campus.  Students work specifically on developing their technique in modern dance and learning choreography for their Spring dance performance.  By providing students opportunities to work directly with a Malashock teaching artist, receive a Master class from Choreographer John Malashock, attend a Malashock Dance Company school assembly program, and see the Malashock Dance Company perform at a discounted rate, we have the opportunity to enhance the quality of their dance education program.  This training and exposure leave a lasting impact on students, creating dancers and arts supporters in the process.
