Malashock Dance is known for their work in the new genre of dance film, choreography specifically for the camera. The Emmy Award winning productions, The Soul of Saturday Night and Love & Murder, produced with partner UCSD-TV, have been screened at various local and international film festivals and aired on public television stations across the country.

Our darkly humorous new dance film set to five songs by the incomparable Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. This Emmy Award-winning film was produced in collaboration with UCSD-TV director John Menier.

The Soul of Saturday Night (2003)
Co-created with UCSD-TV director John Menier, this Emmy Award winning dance film is set to five songs by the legendary Tom Waits. It was shot on location and was created specifically for the camera.
