Exiled Voices: The Refugee Art Experience

Exiled Voices
Malashock Dance partners with Intrepid Theatre Company and the San Diego Unified School District on a timely community outreach program, Exiled Voices: The Refugee Art Experience. Malashock Dance is excited to join an array of professional visual and performing arts creators being paired with refugee students at Crawford High School in City Heights. Choreographers, John Malashock and Lara Segura will work with students to create a new dance representing the refugee resettlement experience. This new work will be presented as part of a public performance at the Horton Grand Theater on March 12, 2017, before touring San Diego schools and cultural centers throughout the year.
