Rachel McRoberts, Communications Manager

Rachel McRoberts, Communications Manager, joined Malashock Dance in 2007. She received her MA in Anthropology at the University of California, San Diego. Rachel grew up dancing and was introduced to modern dance while a student at Knox College in Galesburg, IL.

Always interested in computers, Rachel has designed and managed websites for over 10 years. She enjoys the continual learning process involved in working with websites and Web 2.0 platforms. In addition to her experience with online communications, Rachel has years of administrative experience in organizations such as Synergos Institute and Knox College. As a graduate student, teaching assistant, and researcher, Rachel has also studied the multi-faceted ways that individuals express themselves and their cultures through language and movement.  She is excited to support Malashock Dance's mission to put emotion in motion.

When not spending time at Malashock Dance, Rachel can often be found dancing Argentine Tango throughout San Diego.
